Psychological Support and Psychotherapy in English

Looking for a psychologist or psychotherapist in Warsaw who speaks English?

At Centrum Terapii Psyche, we offer professional psychological support and psychotherapy in English for adults. Our English-speaking psychologists and psychotherapists provide a safe, confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly about what you are experiencing and work towards meaningful change.
Whether you are living in Warsaw, have recently moved to Poland or are simply looking for professional support in English, you don’t have to deal with everything on your own.

When can talking to a psychologist help?

You don’t need to have a diagnosis or a clearly defined problem to seek psychological support. A consultation with a psychologist in Warsaw can be helpful if you:

  • feel overwhelmed,
  • stressed or emotionally exhausted,
    experience anxiety,
  • sadness or persistent low mood,
are going through a difficult life transition or emotional crisis,
  • struggle with relationships or communication,
  • find it difficult to cope with your emotions,
  • experience low self-esteem or self-doubt,
  • feel stuck and don’t know how to move forward,
  • keep repeating patterns that negatively affect your life,
  • are dealing with loss, grief or a difficult experience,
  • simply feel that something in your life needs to change.

Sometimes, you may not even know exactly what is wrong. You only know that you don’t feel like yourself anymore. That’s also a good reason to reach out.

Psychotherapy in English in Warsaw

Psychotherapy can be a way to address current difficulties, but it can also help you better understand yourself, your emotions and your relationships with other people.
At Centrum Terapii Psyche, we offer psychotherapy in English in Warsaw in several therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural (CBT) and humanistic therapy. The most appropriate approach depends on your individual needs, goals and situation.

A safe and confidential space

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. It can be even more challenging when you are looking for a psychologist or psychotherapist who speaks your language.
We understand how important it is to feel comfortable enough to talk openly. Our priority is to create a space where you can speak freely, without judgement or pressure.

Everything you share during your sessions is confidential, including the fact that you are receiving psychological support.

You can choose between in-person psychotherapy in Warsaw and online psychotherapy in English, depending on what works best for you.

Your first consultation

You don’t need to know exactly what you need before contacting us. The first consultation is an opportunity to meet your therapist, talk about your situation and discuss what the next step could look like. You can ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable continuing. Booking an initial consultation does not commit you to long-term therapy.

If you have been thinking about talking to a psychologist or psychotherapist for a while, this might be a good time to take the first step.

Psychotherapy online in English

If you don’t live in Warsaw or simply prefer to speak with a therapist from your own home, online psychotherapy in English is also available.
Online sessions can be a convenient option for people living elsewhere in Poland or abroad who are looking for an English-speaking psychologist or psychotherapist.

Marta Hankiewicz

Therapy can offer a space to slow down, turn inward, and explore your inner world with curiosity and compassion. My work integrates Gestalt psychotherapy with elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches can help you understand what is shaping your experience and create new ways of relating to yourself and others.

I work with people experiencing overwhelm, relationship difficulties, life transitions, inner conflict, or a sense of feeling lost, as well as those who want to understand themselves more deeply and live more in line with what matters to them. I also work with neurodivergent people and those exploring whether ADHD or autism may be part of their experience.

Having lived, studied, and worked outside Poland myself, I particularly welcome people who have moved to Poland from abroad and are building a life here. The challenges that come with adapting to a new environment, building relationships across cultures, and creating a sense of home far from where you come from feel meaningful to me. Sessions are offered in both English and Polish. I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Warsaw, and in 2026 I am completing the full four-year psychotherapy training program at the Institute of Integral Gestalt Psychotherapy, accredited by the Polish Psychological Association (PTP) and the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT). My clinical experience includes work in a psychiatric ward and with a psychotherapy group for adults with experiences of dysfunctional and addictive family dynamics (DDD/DDA).

I see the therapeutic process as a journey that can help us understand ourselves better and gradually build a life better aligned with our needs. I see my role as accompanying you on this journey, no matter where you begin and what challenges you may encounter along the way. My work is grounded in three core values: unconditional acceptance, empathy and authenticity.

My previous experience includes several years of working as an HR professional in international environments. It helps me better understand the professional difficulties my clients face. I gained experience in psychological support through internships in mental health centres and NGOs. I hold a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Warsaw and I am in psychotherapy training at Intra Center.

I work under supervision. I often work with clients who want to navigate their emotions better, build more satisfying relationships or develop their self-esteem. I also support people experiencing a crisis, low mood or anxiety. I have experience supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients.
